"Color Block Sensation"

Color blocking is great! Especially since I just love to add color to the wardrobe.  I'm usually just wearing one pop of color at a time. Lately, although the trend isn't very new, I've been experimenting with wearing multiple colors at once. It is possible to find dresses and other pieces that are already color blocked, but what's the fun in that? Most of the fun for me comes with seeing how many different tasteful color combinations I can come up with on my own. Hot pink and royal blue, as shown here, are two of my favorites. This neon yellow patent purse (Kate Spade) gives life to the hot pink dress (Ralph Lauren) and royal blue shoes (Madden Girl) combination.

Wearing blocks of solid colors together creates a look that makes your ensemble interesting and memorable.

Colored pants are a hit! They are Sure to grab attention when you walk into a room. Green pants (New York and Co) and oh there's that neon yellow again (shirt from Express). Orange leather bag (Kate Spade).

These shoes (I.N.C.) are probably one of my favorite pair of shoes. A little leopard print never hurt nobody. Adding this print is an excellent way to add a neutral color with a flare.

What I like most about color blocking is that it is an inexpensive way to reinvent your look. I am sure that you have at least two colored pieces hanging in your closet or tucked away in a drawer.
